In conjunction with OEP intern Kate Wadach and environmental engineering student Russell Ward, Mel monitored and assessed water use at the Student Recreation Facility. The Water Conservation team evaluated administrative, varsity and recreational water use and gathered concrete data on the facility's water consumption. This study was the first of its kind within a Division I athletic department and provides valuable benchmark numbers for future comparison.
