Energy Dashboards and Green Campus Tour

Energy Dashboards

In the Fall 2013 semester, McHugh Hall and Oak Hall were both outfitted with Energy Dashboards. These dashboards were meant to be integrated into the UConn curriculum and will offer students information about the water, electricity, and steam use of the building as well as an interactive green campus tour.

This Low Impact Development (LID) tour was developed by the Natural Resources Conservation Academy, a summer program for high school students who are mentored by faculty and graduate students from the Dept. of Natural Resources and the Environment.

Campus Tree Touring Guide

This touring guide was prepared by the UConn Arboretum Committee. It features 40 significant trees of the thousands in our campus arboretum that span across the Storrs area. Take a walk, look at the marked tree tags, and learn more about these wonderful tree species!
